The Scar Slide Series is an investigation into the notion of the unwanted memory and plot an attempt to find a visual language to describe the trace or ‘scar’ left on one’s psyche. Location, possession and body are synthesized to hint at non-specific unpleasant occurrences. Buildings, mannequins, puppets and miscellaneous body parts have been appropriated, manipulated and subverted from passive subjects to active objects of malice.
